I've been to Faccia Luna many times and have never been disappointed. I particularly enjoy the tomato bruschetta with fresh mozzarella as an appetizer. I've not tried most of their entrees and haven't been there in a long time. No doubt their menu has changed so I can't judge their entrees. I can speak for the wood fired pizza and antipasto salad though...two big thumbs up!big thumbs. Faccia Luna's antipasto salads are enormous and loaded with quality meat (I'm not sure whether this is still the case given the high cost of groceries these days). Years ago I was exposed to their scrumptious key lime pie, but it was hit or miss whether they were serving it or not. At the time the pie was made by a local individual. If they use the same supplier, I hope it's now a permanent part of their menu. Hands down, it's the best key lime pie I've ever had. I can't wait to eat there again, but no longer have transportation. I wish they delivered!

We were on the road in the late evening, passing through State College and found this pizzeria on Yelp. I can confirm all of the great reviews! We ordered our food to go since we were traveling in our RV and needed to get back on the road. Their wood-fired pizza is spectacular. We ordered a Hawaiian with Pepperoni. Cooked perfectly, fresh toppings, cheese had good flavor, crust was soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside - perfection! I also ordered a small garden salad with house dressing and it was one of the best little salads I've had from a "pizza place". Lots of fresh veggies and the dressing was so good. Also took a quart of frozen Italian Wedding Soup for tomorrow's lunch. Can't wait to dive into that! We ordered at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Our food came out quickly, hot and fresh. This is such a cute place with great food. I recommend. Oh and make sure you don't park across the street at the dispensary! A police officer rolled up as soon as we walked out to our RV sitting in that parking lot. We let them know we were heading out and there were no issues but I understand that cars are towed frequently.

Faccia Luna is my FAVORITE restaurant of all time!! Their pizza is the best pizza I've ever had, same with the chicken ravioli, and the grinder sandwich. The wait staff are super nice and you can trust me they NEVER disappoint. I'm always so excited to go and it truly is the best. We love sitting in the booths, but anywhere is great! I would 110% recommend it whether your visiting or live in State Collage or around it. Please take my work for it and try it out!!!

In State College, PA, again for another conference! First time visiting Faccia Luna Pizzeria! Did it live up to its 4 rating? Yes! A very pleasant buzz in the restaurant. The smell of the woodfire pizza oven wafting gracefully over the dining room. Our server, a very nice, quiet but clear speaking young man (had the look of a young Casey Affleck) took good care of us. Responsive to questions and compliments. The Food: my 5 Cheese Ravioli w/ Italian sausage (add on) was outstanding! The Marinara sauce (made in-house) the ravioli (made in-house) was stellar! The thick cut garlic bread and the Italian sausage were wonderful compliments to this dish. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she said was very good. I had a bite, but it was later in the meal and was cold by the time I got to it. So it's not fair for me to review. Her only criticism was that the 'house made' spaghetti was cooked a little less than Al dente. I tried it and thought the same. It's thicker than store bought spaghetti (which was a great idea) but it needed another minute or so, in my opinion. No appetizers, this time. But we did have dessert: The homemade key lime pie was light as a cloud with perfect flavor and texture. Anything with a graham cracker crust is worth a try in my book! My wife had a Chocolate & Peanut butter cupcake that she thought was delicious! All in all, we had a great time at this restaurant. The food came out in good time, served by friendly people in a clean, joyful environment. 4 ?? Absolutely. Highly Recommend. We'll be back...

Absolutely fantastic pizza, and probably the best you can get in State College. I've tried most or all of them, and Genoa is my favorite - but I haven't had a bad one yet! I have tried several other menu items such as a few of the salads and appetizers, but my go-to is always their pizza. It is perfect thin crust pizza with just the right amount of toppings. A 1/3 of a pizza would probably be considered a meal, unless you're me, and then you'll want a full half (or more!). The restaurant itself is quite small and has limited parking, so normally we go for the take out route. Calling ahead has always given us the food exactly when we needed! Servers have always been nice, even when they are slammed.

Here for business and was told this is the best place for pizza! However, I immediately saw they offered seafood and thought to give it a shot. Lovely atmosphere, and the bar area was a nice setting to enjoy my meal. Parking was scarce, but they were almost at a full house (from my view) (9/10) The crab ravioli with vodka sauce garnishes with bread sticks was very delicious. Creamy, very well seasoned and house made pasta (10/10) The Cesar salad seemed to be made with iceberg lettuce vs romaine. However, the server at the bar said it was romaine. It was lightly dressed, but it was a nice added touch of diced tomato's. (3/10) For dessert was Key Lime Pie. Plating and presentation could use some work. The pie filling wasn't as firm, but very flavorful. Almost as if it was sitting out. However, the gram cracker crust and confectionary sugar was a nice addition. (5/10) Enjoyed the Jose Cuervo margarita! (10/10) The perfect blend of alcohol to mixer.

This place ROCKS! College tour trip to State College and I must say I havent been here since the 80's. The service was amazeballs and the food was delightful. My daughter and I shared a pizza , meatballs and a salad. Wow, meatballs were very tasty and the pizza was delicious. Salad was above average. Thank You so much for the great service! I've been a fan of Faccia Luna since the 90"/ and hadn't been there in ages. So happy it's still there. The wood fired pizza, drink selection, and service are still very good. No reservations, so I recommend going early if you don't want to wait too long. They're very popular for a reason.
